One person was taken in custody in connection with a standoff at a Milford home, according to police in the Massachusetts town. Swat Shield
Milford police chief Robert Tusino said the man, identified as Daniel Generoso, 26, will be charged in connection with an armed robbery at a butcher shop and convenience store last week.
Police said a regional SWAT team executed a search warrant on Generoso's residence that resulted in a prolonged standoff.
On Monday afternoon, the Milford Police Department shared on social media that the section of West Street (Route 140) between Prospect and Asylum streets was closed to traffic.
Video from the scene shows at least one SWAT team vehicle responded to Milford, along with numerous police cruisers.
"I get down to the bottom of the driveway and there's just like cruisers everywhere," Ti Ferrelli, who lives right next door to the house flanked by the SWAT team, said. "I see a guy with a riot shield up."
Video from the scene showed a police drone overhead as SWAT officers with rifles walked through the streets.

Tusino said it took some time to clear the entire apartment building. Police thought the two other wanted suspects may have been hiding somewhere in the building.
Tusino said police remain on the lookout for two other suspects.
Ferrelli said a number of people live inside the home that was surrounded by the SWAT team. She said they moved in recently and often keep to themselves.
Police said Route 140 was reopened to traffic around 6:30 p.m. Monday.
