It showed the expanded TrueVIS product lineup, which now includes resin, UV and eco-solvent models. The company’s consolidated product portfolio is now grouped under TrueVis for roll-to-roll, VersaObject for flatbed, and VersaStudio for the Soho market.
Roland DG launched a large-format UV flatbed printer, the EU-1000MF, which prints onto a wide variety of rigid and flexible substrates, up to 2.4x1.2m, with a maximum height of 95mm, at a resolution of 720x900dpi. Target applications including signs, exhibitions, and interior decoration. It has a special gloss option, which produces a raised print effect. Inkjet Digital Printer
The company also launched its VersaObject CO-300, the seven-colour printer aimed at the booming promotional products market. It can print on objects up to 150mm high, and has an option to print on cyclindrical objects. Encarna Luque, product manager at Roland DG said, "It will enable printers to realise the potential in the personalisation market." The company’s first water-based resin ink printer, the AP-640, is being demonstrated alongside established models including the TrueVIS SG3 and VG3 Series. New models include the LG and MG Series UV printer-cutters. Roland DG also launched a new DTF Printer, the BN-200, which it says will enable print service providers to operate in the garment decoration market "with ease".
